Ich hatte die Gelegenheit ein par Bilder eines jungen Fuchses zu machen. Er lebt zur Zeit in einer Auffangstation und wird dort auf die Auswilderung vorbereitet.

Das erste Mal …
… das ich einen lebenden Maikäfer gesehen habe.
Heutzutage sind sie ja leider selten geworden. Millionen Tiere wurden früher getöte, da die Egerlinge als Schädlinge im Boden die Wurzeln schädigen und die weiblichen Käfer zwischen Befruchtung und Eiablage die Blätter der Bäume kahlfressen können.

Fröhliche Ostern
Kirschblüte
Jeden Frühling beginnen die Bäume zu blühen. Weiße und rosa Blüten zieren die Bäume Manche nur um die Betrachter zu erfreuen, andere bringen uns auch Früchte.

It’s becoming warm again
and that not only means, that the flowers are starting to bloom and the trees are getting new leaves. Also the amphibians are back in the ponds.

Beim Schmied
Schmiedearbeit ist wirklich Schwerstarbeit. Heute können Maschinen die Arbeit erleichtern. Aber es bleibt immer noch Schwerstarbeit, die zudem auch nochgefährlich ist.
Heiße Feuer erhitzen das Eisen um es für die Bearbeitung geschmeidig zu machen. Laut fällt der Hammer auf das glühende Eisen und bringt es in die vom Schmied gewünschte Form.
Ein Feuer, und insbesondere ein Schmidefeuer, ist immer interessant zu beobachen.
birds of prey
Recently I attended a bird of prey flight show. Different falcons, hawks, eagles and owls showed there skills in flying. It was amazing. Unfortunately I had to use high ISO because the weather was not so good.

Happy valentine
The February meeting
Yesterday was the first Saturday of a month. Thus I met some fellow photographers here in the region. We usually meet for taking photographs. The month we met a an illuminated castle. That castle is not allways illuminated. Only for 4 weeks from mid January ‚til mid February. The title of this years installation is „1001 night“, while the last years title was „Ice palace“.
We had a wonderful time, even it was slightly raining. But it was not as cold as last year.
